CELEBRATED 10TH ANNIVERSARY WITH A WEEKEND OF EVENTS
The Perennial family of businesses celebrated its 10th anniversary with a weekend of events, including a birthday bash for founder and CEO Lamell McMorris and a small business competition for high-school entrepreneurs. The People The Rev. Al Sharpton danced to beats spun by MC Lyte at the birthday party, and MSNBC correspondent Jeff Johnson hosted the business competition.Best In Show Ten students won $1,000 each to start or expand their businesses. They will also get mentoring along the way.
