SECOND ANNUAL EVENING OF EXCELLENCE...
Perennial Strategy Group, in partnership with ESSENCE Magazine and Southern Company, hosted their 2nd annual Evening of Excellence—a special awards reception, as part of the 2010 Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's (CBCF) Annual Legislative Conference. The event was widely attended by Congressional Members and several of Washington's leading business professionals as the reception honored some of today's most influential advocates and architects of change.
This year's honorees included Warrick Dunn, founder, Warrick Dunn Family Foundation; Judge Glenda Hatchett, host of the Judge Hatchett show and best-selling author; Sheila C. Johnson, CEO, Salamander Hospitality, entrepreneur, philanthropist and filmmaker; and Rodney Peete & Holly Robinson Peete, founders, The HollyRod Foundation.
